Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga

Lenovo has unveiled a new hybrid tablet/Ultrabook named  Yoga. It is a combination of a laptop and a tablet. Powered by the Microsoft Windows 8 operating system, the IdeaPad Yoga features a 13.3-inch touch-screen display with 1,600×900-pixel resolution, the Intel’s Ivy Bridge Core i-series CPUs, up to 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and 8 hours of battery life. It is 16.9mm thick and weighs 3.1 pounds.  Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga will be launched in the second quarter of 2012 for $1,199 upwards.

Samsung Series 9 Laptops

Samsung has launched its new  Series 9 premium-class thin-and-light laptops, featuring  Intel’s i5 or i7 Core processors, a 13.3″ or 15″ (which is slightly thicker at 0.6″ and heavier at 3.28 pounds) 1600 x 900 display, 128/256GB SSD, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, a mini LAN port (ships with a LAN dongle adapter), mini VGA port, HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Series 9 has a boot time of 9.8 seconds and a fast wake up time. Battery life is rated 7 hours for the 13.3″ and 10 hours for the 15″ model.

The laptops are expected to arrive on February 27th in the US, with prices of $1,399.99 for the 13.3-inch and $1,499.99 for the 15-inch model.

Fujitsu Lifebook SH76/G 13.3-inch Notebook

Fujitsu has announced a new thin and light notebook called Fujitsu Lifebook SH76/G. The Lifebook SH76/G features a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 display, an Intel Core i5-2450M processor at 2.50GHz, 4GB DDR3 of memory, a 128GB SSD, webcam,  DVD burner, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Features:  SD card slot, fingerprint sensor, WiFi, WiMAX, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port. The Lifebook SH76 / G is priced about $2,215 and will go on sale from February 9th in Japan.
